Show Mendon Struggles. H Various Little Things of Interest 'M to Mendon People. H Mendon, Dec. 28 A grand concert H was given In the meeting house Fri- iH day evening by the young ladles and M men's association. There was a large ,B crowd In attendance, and all enjoyed H It very much. The proceeds were to M go for tho benefit of tiie associations. M A grand ball was given In Richard's H hall Saturday evening by tho Mendon M orchestra. A large crowd was present, M and all had an enjoyable time for M about two hours, the dance not start- M Ing until ten o'clock. We all wish to M congratulate the. orchestra on their M good playing, ror they are certainly M Improving. H Miss Artemisia Richards, Mr. and M Mrs. Joseph Hancock. Miss Mabel H Gardner, Miss Cora Harduian and M many others have como home to spend H holidays with their parents M Santa Claus distributed presents M rather early this year, as Mr. and Mrs. M Willis Harilmau had a tine baby girl B presented to them Tuesday of last week.
