"When I bought my farm, four years ago," said Mr. Tuttle, "tho orchard or-chard had been allowed to grow wild. I gathered only threo bags of apples that fnll. In the spring I sprayed and pruned the trees and turned SO hogs Into the orchard. They rooted for their living all summer. "By fall every foot of soil had been turned up by their snouts. The land looked as If It had been plowed. And It had, for theso four-legged plows had done a thorough Job and had gono as deep as a plowshare. I gathered 82 barrels of apples that season.
