Lohl has in tho past let things go by and othorB have beon receiving tho benefits from this class of spondors. Hut now, through tho efforts of James Potorson and othor citizens, Lohl has a routo to tho peak and tho only thing left to do Is to make tho fact known. It Is tho shortest routo from any northren point and can be mado THE ROUTE if business people and city officials will uso tholr efforts to advortlso it. Through tho improving and opening open-ing of tho road over Mitchell Hollow near tho Thrnshor farm and tho widening ot tho stroet north ot there a thrco rod road Is obtained from tbo Old Experimental farm to tho Alplno road east of tho Highland school. Tho ollmlnatlo'n ot tho deep ditches on tho stretch ot road abovo tho Thrasher Thrash-er farm doos away with tho great objection formerly raised to this road. Tho now routo can start at Main Streot on First East, go north across tho Salt Lake Routo track, east on tho section lino to tho old experimental experi-mental farm corner, north over tbo Whlmpoy hill through Mitchell hollow on up to tho creek and then cast, still on a section lino to tho Alplno road, thonco into Amorlcan Fork Canyon and to tho now trail in South Fork.
