Ho has been ailing nt times oi several months and a compllca-tlon compllca-tlon of troubles m.ally resulted in dropsy, the cause of his death. Mr. Whlmpey was born In Hryn-mour, Hryn-mour, Wales, Jonunry l, 1849. Ho lolned the church In his boyhood and omlgrnted to American In i860, locating locat-ing with his parents In Ohio. In 18S3 ho moved to l.ehl, which hns been his principal homo, with the exception of several years spent nt the coal camps In Winter Quarters and in Pleasant Valley. He leaves nine children: the girls are Mrs. Mary Reese, Mrs. Martha Street, Mis. Cora Peterson, Mrs. Lottie Lot-tie Martell, Mrs. Laura West, Mrs. Emma Evans; the boys are Hyrum, and John.
