Hut fow city cemeteries of tho size of American Fork havo so many beautiful monuments In it, all of which indicates the tender feeling displayed by the people toward departed de-parted relatives mid ancestors. In tho afternoon there was a game of ball at the city park betweou American Amer-ican Fork mid the l6ma Club of Salt Lake City., Tho game was well attended at-tended and' was a good exhibition. It resulted In the score of 7 to 4 In favor of tho homo team. Later tho American Fork team went to Llndon, and In a fast gamo scored another victory, the result being a repeater 7 to 4 In favor of American Amer-ican Fork. Mitchell and Robinson wero the batteries Hi the American Fork gamo, while Mlllor and Robin-sou Robin-sou wero tho battery at Llndon. The gamo next week will bo between be-tween Lehl nnd American Fork at Lchl. Tho two teams heretofore have been great rivals. Last year Lehl laid It over us, but tho tables seem to bo reversed this yenr, at IcaBt tho 'two teams will take each other's measure mea-sure next Wednesday. |
