Show 151 'DDYK.ZOLL Jennie R. Jensen succumbs; honored at services Jennie Richards Jensen, 89, died in Phoenix, Ariz, of natural . causes May 25, 1974. She was born August 18, 1884 at Parowan to Thomas and Jane Pendleton Richards. She married John Henry Jensen in Parowan. She is survived sur-vived by: one son and two daughters; Claude Jensen and Mrs. Dalton (Georgia) Meeks of Parowan and Mrs. Henry II. (Jean) Leigh of Phoenix, Ariz. Also surviving are eight grandchildren grand-children and four great grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services honoring Mrs. Jensen were held Thursday, May 30 at the Parowan Third LDS Ward Chapel. The family prayer was offered by Mario Topham and Jackie Robinson played the prelude, postlude music. Bishop Stephen R. Adams conducted the services and Michael Leigh gave the invocation. in-vocation. Musical numbers consisted of a vocal duet by Jackie Robinson, LaNean Kellogg, a vocal solo by Howard Knight and a mixed quartet by Jackie Robinson, LaNean Kellogg, Howard Knight, and Bishop Stephen R. Adams. Speakers were Henry H. Leigh and La Mar Jensen with remarks by Bishop Stephen R. Adams. Benediction was offered by Ray J. Meeks and Dalton Meeks dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary. |
