Show SUS President's Award presented The President's Award, presented annually to the person most helping student government, govern-ment, has been awarded a Cedar City newspaperman by the associated students at Southern 1 Utah State College. Klien Rollo, editor and i publisher of the Iron County Record, received the award recently at an installation banquet honoring newly elected ASSUSC officers. Rollo was honored for his help to the college in general and for his work this year as printer for the Thunderbird, SUSC's student newspaper. "The Thunderbird staff was ! given complete run of the Record office; Klien turned over his , facilities to us and we got a great deal of practical working experience," Barb Bottema, outgoing paper editor said. Bottema awarded an engraved , plaque to the 1949 SUSC graduate ; in behalf of the ASSUSC 1 Executive Council (elected and appointed student body officers) who choose the award recipient.
