Show Haight announces appointments inSUSC Student Government Appointed student officers, chosen to assist the student body president in various capacities dealing with student government, govern-ment, have assumed duties at Southern Utah State College. The eight appointed officers will serve on the ASSUSC executive council throughout the remainder of the present school year and through winter quarter next year, Robin Haight, newly elected ASSUSC president, noted. After selection by the ASSUSC president, each officer was ratified by the student senate. "I believe the people chosen will do excellent jobs in the areas they've been selected to serve in ; we're looking forward to a fantastic year," Haight said. Positions and appointed officers of-ficers include: Secretary - Sherrie Bowlden, Salt Lake City, a sophomore majoring in drama. Cultural Affairs - Leslie Robison, Cedar City, a junior majoring in theatre arts. Financial affairs - Lynn Hatch, Cedar City, a junior accounting major. Social Affairs - Gary Nakken, Cedar City, Sophomore zoology major. Public Relations - Greg Hollingshead, Centerville, Davis County, freshman business administration major. Ambassadors - Jerri Grills, Bountiful, junior majoring in drama. Talent Bureau - Karla Adams, Cedar City, Sophomore majoring in drama.
