Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS Mildred's funeral. Nine brothers and sisters of Mildred Polloch Ballard were here for her funeral. Verl Pollock and Violet and George Riggins of San Fernando Valley, Calif.; Edith i Sorensen, Ventura, Calif.; Leda ; and Ken Rubblie of Redondo Beach, Calif.' Woodrow and Pauline Polloch and daughter, Watsonville, Calif; Austin and Effie Polloch, Chahalis, Wash.; Cleora and Morell Bayles, Kanab; Lorraine Bradier and son Jack, Tuscon Ariz. ; and ' Blaine Polloci, Salt Lake City. One sister, Wilma Trimmer was unable to be here. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams was their daughter Deborah Blake and children, Joshua and Anisa of Santa Clara, and Lamond Parker, Cedar City. By Carina Williams Mrs. Belle Davis received word of the death of her mother, Rachel Bryant Gower 85, who died Jan. 25 at the Cedar Manor. j Her daughter Mildred Stephen from Murray was with her when she died. Funeral services were held Jan. 28 in Cedar City. Here for the funeral besides Belle and Mildred was NaDean Daly of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Idonna Stirton, Las Vegas Nevada; Mrs. Joan Kimber, Elko, Nev., two grandchildren of the late Verda Douglas, raised by Mrs. Gower; Paul Douglas, Cedar City; Geraldine Shearer, Jackson Wyoming. Others were Helen Simplins and son Brad, Lennis and Dick McDonald and family of Murray; Kathy and Larry Bullock and family Salt Lake City ; J. V. and Amy Davis, Robert and Deanna Davis, i Russell and Diane, All of Cedar j City; Allen and Retta Davis, Kanarraville; Rudy Stephens and Merrill Kimber from Salt Lake City and Elko, Nev; John. Stirton, Las Vegas, Nev. Verna and Leonard Davis, Jim and Marilee spent Monday evening at the home of Virginia ' and Ralph B. Piatt of Cedar City. ! Virginia had a chili supper to celebrate Verna's birthday. i Mark Pollock, of St. George spent the weekend here with his grandmother and aunt, Ethna and Barbara Williams. Mrs. Sylva Williams underwent un-derwent major surgery at Valley View Medical Center Tuesday and is in good condition. Spending a couple of days in Las Vegas, Nev. with Mr. and Mrs. Don Robinson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Williams and family were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams, Mrs. Vicki Cornelius and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Williams and family. Spending the day with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams was their mother and sister Zina Prisby, Washington. Bettie Salvagni Of Las Vegas, Nev. Many of our townspeople attended at-tended the viewing and funeral of Mrs. Rachel Gower. Word was received here of the death of a former resident, Mrs. Mildred Pollock Ballard of Hurricane. Mildred was the 2nd child of 14 born to the late Sam and Eleanor Pollock. There are 10 of the 14 still living. Many relatives and friends attended her viewing and funeral in Hurricane Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams are in Las Vegas with their daughter and son in law Cheryl and Richard Rose and family. They are awaiting the arrival of a new grandchild. Mrs. Afton Ford of Las Vegas, Nev. spent last week here caring for her sister in law, Irene Davis. Mrs. Harlene Sheppard spent the day at Valley View Medical Center where Dr. Gaisford of Salt Lake City gave her an en-dascopy en-dascopy test on her stomach. Visiting Friday-with Delile and Gwen Davis was Austin and Effie Pollock of Chahalis, Wash., and Ted and Shelly Currey, Cedar City. ' ' Mrs. Lela Pollock of Salt Lake City spent a few days here with her sister and brother-in-law Thelma anbd James Lovell. Lela came for her sister-in-law |
