Show Escalante Lions sell Pheasant Permits The Escalante Valley Lions Club will again be in charge of four pheasant hunting units in the Escalante Valley, it was announced by President Kelly Wood this week. The units are located at Beryl, Beryl Junction, Newcastle, and Enterprise, find include some of the better hunting areas in the Valley. Permits for these units will go on on public sale by the Lions Club on October 28, 1979 at Woody's Cafe at the Beryl Junction crossroads from 12 to 6 p.m. Permits may be reserved by sending an application to Marvin Bracken, Secretary, Escalante Valley Lions Club, Beryl, Utah 84714. Permits reserved by ap plication will be available for pickup the morning of the hunt at a breakfast sponsored spon-sored by the Lions Club at the Escalante Valley Community Building, beginning at 5 a.m. November 3, 1979. Permits will be available for purchase pur-chase at the Pheasant Breakfast on a first come first serve basis. Applications Ap-plications for permits may be obtained from any member of the Escalante Valley Lions Club. The proceeds from the Pheasant hunt projects will be used by the Club for upgrading the Community Volunteer Fire Departments and other worthy programs. |
