Show American Indian Education Conference Northern Arizona University will host the second annual American Indian Education Conference Con-ference at the South Academic Center Activity Center Wed.-Fri., Sept. 12-14. 12-14. The conference is dedicated to "providing an opportunity for American Indians to express and exchange ex-change ideas, concepts and products essential to the development of knowledge and skills related to American Indian governance gover-nance and prosperity," explains Mae Benally, conference coordinator. The three-day conference will include guest speakers and group leaders from Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah and Washington, D.C., who will develop the theme "Human Resource Development for the American Indian." Last year's conference was attended at-tended by 276 people. Those interested in pre-registering pre-registering for the con ference may attend the entire conference, including the Wed. evening banquet, for $40. Registration is also available at a daily rate of $22. Students may register for $1 per day. The conference is co-spoinsored co-spoinsored by the Northern Arizona University College of Education, Dine Teacher Corps Project and the American Indian Education Training Resource Center at the University of New Mexico.
