Show Olive Mitchell succumbs V S ' V ' Mrs. Mitchell was a devoted mother and homcmaker. She was active in the LDS Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include four sons and two daughters; Gerald M. Murray; Fraser M, Ogdcn; J. Preston, Pasadena, Tex.; James C. Taylorsville; Mrs. Harold ' (Audine) Rogerson, Provo and Mrs, Roderick (Vanda Lee) Lister, Tonopah, Nev. Also surviving are 43 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jay W. Moore and Clyde Moore, both of Parowan. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 3 in the Parowan Third Ward with Bishop Boyd Mitchell conducting. Prayers were offered by James Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, John Rogerson and Rod Lister. Speakers were Bishop Mitchell, Jean Hen-drickson Hen-drickson and Preston Mitchell. Music was rendered by Una Mortensen, Whitney Orton, Laurel Matheson, Vyonne Chamberlain and Vanda Lee Lister, Burial was in the Parowan City Cemtery under the direction of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. OLIVE LEE MITCHELL Olive Lee Moore Mitchell, 73, of Parowan, died at the Valley View Medical Center of Cancer, July 31. Mrs. Mitchell was born December 22, 1902 in Pontiac, Kan. to Leonidus and Eliza Ann Brown Moore. On May 12, 1920 she married John Sprouse Mitchell in Parowan. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He died November 4, 1956. |
