Show Travel Increases at Zion Park the undergraduate field seminars for or without class credit. Both of these special programs are in cooperation with Southern Utah State College in Cedar City and the Zion Natural History Association. Travel to Zion National Park totalled 24,783 visits for the month of February according to Superintendent Robert C. Heyder. This figure represents a four percent increase as compared com-pared with February, 1976. Campground use at Zion totalled . .1348 campers, an increase in-crease of more than 100 percent as compared to the same month last year; the warm February weather is believed to have contributed to the large increase. A schedule of daily conducted walks and evening programs begins on Saturday, March 26, and will continue until next fall. The first walk of the season will be led by J. L. Crawford to the very popular Emerald Pools at 12:30 p.m., leaving from the parking area across from Zion Lodge. That same evening he will present an illustrated program at 7:30 p.m. in the Visitor Center Auditorium followed by a question and answer an-swer period.
