Show Appaloosa Horse Show set at Bloomington May 2 The first annual all-Appa-loosa Horse Show to be sponsored spon-sored by the Color Country Appaloosa Club will be held Saturday, May 2, at Bloomington Bloom-ington near St. George, owners own-ers were reminded this week. The show is slated to start at 8 a. m. and continue through to 8 p. m. Saturday evening. The show is nationally nation-ally approved and open to all registered Appaloosa owners. own-ers. Youth are especially en- couraged to enter in a special- division established for them. Entry blanks for the show can be obtained by contacting contact-ing Jim Nielson of New Harmony, Har-mony, show chairman, or Nora Jessen of 341 Diagonal Street, St. George. A blanket will be presented for the High Point Performance Perform-ance of the show and a hal-i hal-i ter will go to the youth showmanship show-manship winner. Trophies and ribbons will also be presented pre-sented to first through fifth place winners in each of the divisions, Nielson stated. Admission to the show is free and all interested are invited in-vited to participate in all activities ac-tivities of the First Annual Appaloosa Horse Show in the Southern Utah area. |
