S university He has also done some work for that paper since his entrance to the University of Utah He is a member of Amici Amid fraternity Theron Parmalee Parmelee was a member of the freshman debating team last year He had considerable experience experience e ence on the Red and Black staff at the Salt ISalt Lake high school He is a member member mem mem- ber bel of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity Under the eligibility rules of the University one freshman is permitted to become a member of the Chronicle staff This is the only varsity activity act actio vity where this exception is made To She Sherman man Lowenstein Lo goes the honor honorof of occupying this position Lowenstein Lowenstein Lowen Lowen- stein attended the University of Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Penn Penn- sylvania for a short time last year rear where he was entered in the contests for reporters on the Pennsylvania daily paper Three years rears ago he was a member of the Red and Black staff of Salt Lake high school The Tile new staff of reporters will take up their duties tomorrow Spencer Ure sporting editor of the Chronicle who was working for the state road commission until October 1 will return to the University today |
