Show Adult Classes Pre-Registration Date Set Preliminary registration for adult classes of the Iron County Coun-ty School District will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, accoding to Marian Hahne, Adult Educa-cation Educa-cation Coordinator. Classes taught through the School District are offered as a public service to the community com-munity and an attempt is made to meet the needs and interests of Cedar City resi-j dents. Most classes are offered free of charge and no fee will ex-' coed $5.00 per class. Classes will be offered in art; arts and crafts; home skills such as cooking, sewing, tailoring, drapries; vocational skills, such as carpentry, cabinet making, furniture refinishing,, etc. A complete list of classes offered will be printed in the Record next week. Almost any class may be taught if ten or more students request such a class. Registration will be held at the Cedar High School Thursday, Thurs-day, Jan. 16, from 7:00 p. m. to 9:30 p. m. Mrs- Hahne reports that 3 classes for high school credit are being taught at the present pre-sent time. The classes are just getting started and additional addition-al students may be accepted by special arrangements. Math, English and social studies are being taught and , each class completed will earn ' one unit of high school credit for the student. |
