Show College Notes Gifts and Grants College of Southern Utah has received $166,185.10 in gilts and grants during the fiscal yvar to the present date. A total of $152,311.19 not pre-viously pre-viously reported were outlined outlin-ed to the Board of Trustees during the month of January, included was $4,512 received from the Federal Goveriment for the Upward Bound Program. Pro-gram. This completes the total to-tal allotment of $79,738.00 awarded to the college this year for the program. A payment of $20,531.03 was received from the Manpower Development Program for the Secretarial and Nurses Training Train-ing Programs. This brings to $19,671 the amout received to date of a total budget of $66,-411.1G. $66,-411.1G. Student Loans The college receive an additional addi-tional $35,000 for the National Defense Student Loan Grant, totaling $70,000 received to date of an alloted $100,022. The first payment og $87,400 was received from the Office of Education toward grants totaling $182,303. Academic scholarships totaling to-taling $720.66 have boon received re-ceived from the Luetic Broad-bent Broad-bent Foundation, Berrott Music Mu-sic Company, and First Security Secur-ity Foundation. Development fund gifts amounting to $1,466.21 have been donated by Sweet Candy Co., Phi Alpha Beta, E. T. Marchant, Pearl Lence, Jones Equipment., Salary Deductions, Deduc-tions, Trustee Lowell Sher-ratt, Sher-ratt, Jr., Trustee J. Clair Morris, Mor-ris, Ralph Piatt, L. A. Whet-ten, Whet-ten, Student Committee, and First Security Foundation. 3 Month Contributions The Library Development Foundation ha3 received during dur-ing September, October and November books and materials valued at $2,682 from the fol-lowing fol-lowing donors: Faculty Ladies Club, Dr. McRay Cloward, Dr. Richard A.
