Show Landscape prize accorded SUSC library The new Southern Utah State College Library, to be dedicated November 11, has received special recognition for its landscaping, it was announced an-nounced by Dr. Roydcn C. Braithwaite, SUSC president. The college has received notification of winning first place in the State Beautifica-tion Beautifica-tion Program for the library landscaping. The full landscaping land-scaping project was completed within a matter of months j during the past summer, according ac-cording to Dr. Braithwaite "We wore most gratified witl the speed with which the li brary grounds were beauti fied," he said. Dr. Braithwaite added tha the college is especially ar preciative for the services of Sheldon Grant, superintend ent of grounds, and Black burn and Gower Contractors. "These men and their crew have worked around the cloc' to insure the readiness of thi; project for the dedication," h explained. He pointed out that SUSC has been rated I by landscape specialists as I one of the most beautiful small college campuses in the nation. Dedication for the library will be conducted Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. in the SUSC Auditorium. Auditori-um. Dr. G. Homer Durham, Utah Commissioner for Higher High-er Education, will be guest speaker. The dedicatory prayer will be offered by Elder Eld-er Bernard Brockbank, Assistant Assist-ant to the Council of Twelve of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
