UN Seminar Nov. 23 t ' Saturday, Nov. 23, Parowan ' ; High School will serve as the host for a ' regional Model United Nations Seminar to be sponsored by the University, I it is announced by Mrs. Le!- j Ilani Bentley, head of UN ac-; tivities at the Parowan High. These seminars are con-i con-i ducted by the United Nations college chapter and serve as I instructional sessions for MUN ( i delegates in the var'ous regit reg-it ions of the state. Student I delegates to the MUN state I meetings which are held in1 April at the University ot I Utah are taught skills of re- i I search, resolution writing, j parliamentary procedure, and other activities relat've to ! participation in the April ses- sions. I Schools participating in this I regional seminar w'll be Bea-I Bea-I ver, Bryce Valley, Dixie, Es-I Es-I calante, Hurricane, Kanab, i Panguitch and Parowan. 1 Parowan High MUN dele 's gation will be representing! I Canada this year. This is a choice assignment, Canada i ) being a Security Council mem-' ber, and is a reflection of the 1 high quality participation of i f the PHS delegation last year. I I Head of the delegation is J Keith Adams, with other mem-I mem-I bers, Barbara Stones, Gail Bentley, Keith Stubbs, Sherry IDalton and Marsha Stubbs.
