Show Women Bowlers Compete in Tourney Hunter Hardware finishing in fouth place. . . v In the doubles events it was Pat Heyborne and Margie Thorley winning first place followed by Dora Gower and Donna Jolley in second. Third went to Sharon Wadsworth and Evelyn Jones; fourth, Todd Lambeth and Sandra Houghton, Hough-ton, and fifth, Mona, Twitch-ell Twitch-ell and Jolene Skougard. Winning singles honors was The Cedar City Women's Bowling Association completed complet-ed their city tournament Sunday Sun-day night with many new bowlers as the winner. Entries included 12 teams, 16 doubles and 32 singles events. First place winner in he team competition was Coleman Cole-man Company followed in second by Keith's Mobil, Cum-mings Cum-mings Electric in third and Carol Browning with Dora Gower and Penny Eyman tying ty-ing for second and third. In fouth place was Sandra Houghton, followed by Barbara Bar-bara Davis, fifth; , Evelyn Jones, sixth; Margie Thorley, seventh; Marie Memmott, in eighth and Sandra Webster, ninth. ' ' The all events winner was Evelyn Jones. All events is determined by the highest scratch efforts in all three events team, doubles and singles. .- .: Other highlights included an all spare game by Virginia Virgin-ia Randall. Awards banquet for the association as-sociation will be held Dec. 13 at the China Garden Cafe. |
