Show Parowan Seminary Announces Record Enrollment With the opening of school last week at the Parowan High School the Parowan LDS Seminary Sem-inary also got under way with one of the largest enrollments in its history. Ernest Ahlborn, principal of the Seminary announces an-nounces that as of last Friday a total of 145 students were enrolled at the institution which is a 117c increase over the previous year. It is also a very high percentage of the total enrollment for the four upper years at the high school. The class schedule at the seminary begins at 8 a. m. with a New Testament class, and continues with New Testament Testa-ment classes during the second sec-ond and third periods. Book of Morrr.on study follows in the morning session. The fifth period is also a Book of Mormon Mor-mon class, followed by New Testament during the 6th and 7th periods. Seminary officers ' for this school year, named at the close of school last May, are: Glenn Robinson, president; Eugene Adams, vice president; Sandra 'Wasden, secretary; Ginger Robb, historian; Chrys-tine Chrys-tine Potter, program chairman; Christine Knight, second year representative and Sheri Price, first year representative. The opening social event of i the year for the students at the Seminary will be a hay-ride hay-ride and barbecued hambur-i hambur-i ger supper at the Five Mile 1 recreation camp Saturday evening, eve-ning, Sept. 9, states Mr. Ahlborn. |
