Show I NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE i Caine was injured in a construction construc-tion accident over a year ago and has spent a good part of that time in hospitals and on crutches. He is in the Nevada Southern Memorial Hospital in Las Vegas. visited with their many friends in town. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Evans and baby daughter Deborah of Cedar City visited over the week end at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Mrs. Mary Tullis and family visited Sunday in Enterprise at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Terry. Sydney and Wayne had a birthday dinner din-ner honoring Mrs. Tullis. The annual Tri-Valley Association Associa-tion banquet was held Monday night at the Student Center on the CSU campus in Cedar City. A large number of members from Newcastle attended. Word was received that Caine Christensen had to have an operation oper-ation on his leg. This time the leg will have to be made stiff. Mrs. Norma Christensen There has been a lot of flu in town. It seems that each family has been taking turns having all of their members sick in bed. Maybe this nice spring weather will clear the air. Mrs. Ethel Lund of Cedar City and Modena visited last week at the home of Mrs. Cassie Christensen. Chris-tensen. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Morton and family of Summit were visitors visit-ors last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. One of Lydia's little girls stayed a few days with her grandparents. Week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Harrison were their sons and their families; fam-ilies; Lamond and his family of Henderson, Nevada; Reed and family of Enterprise, and Merrill Mer-rill and family of Cedar City. Ross Harrison also visited from his horre in Caliente, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fox of Yorba Linda, California were visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Visiting at the home of Mrs. Mary Ttullis this week were her three little neices, Diane, Heidi, and Wendy Nielsen, all of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Tlatt and family of Moapa, Nevada, were visitors over the week end. They brought Bruce to the doctor and |
