Show CSU To Host Science Fair on March 26th. Young scientists will meet at College of Southern Utah on March 2(i for regional Science Fair activities, it was announced by co-chairman Dr, Kussell D. Anderson and Frank Faux of the CSU faculty. The fair will open In the CSU Science Building at 9 a, m. Exhibitors from southern Utah counties will compete for the opportunity op-portunity to travel to Provo on April 2 to compete in the Greater Utah Science Fair held at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. Winners rrom that competition will be sent to Dallas, Texas, to the National Na-tional Science Fair. All junior and senior high school students are eligible to participate in the local activity, which is sponsored by the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Only senior high school students may compete for National Na-tional Science Fair Awards. In addition to competing for further participation, stutdents are in a posiion to win a set of World Book Encylopedias, Popular Popu-lar Science Encyclopedias, 50 Signet Mentor Science Books, a Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, a Navy cruise, and other awards to be made at each of the four ISF fairs. |
