Show Irene Bentley Dies, Funeral Service ! To Be Held Friday I Mrs. Irene D. Bentley, 63, resi- dent of Parowan for the past 18 years, died Tuesday of this week at a Cedar City nursing home J following a long illness. I Funeral services will be Held J for her on Friday, June 24, at 2 I p. m. in the Parowan Third Ward church. Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Bentley prior to the services. ! The deceased was born Feb. 24, 1903 in Greenville, Utah to Wil- liam and Alice Davis. She was I married to Ray Bentley in Pana-J Pana-J -ca, Nev., on Jan. 30, 1932. They I lived in Caliente from then until I 1948 where Mr. Bentley was em-I em-I ployed by the U. P. Railroad, at which time they moved to j Parowan. f A member of the Church of j Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mrs. Bentley has worked in the different ward auxiliary organi- zations and served as a stake 1 missionary. Survivors include her husband and three daughter and one son. 'They are: Mrs. James (Carol) Lynn,. Hay ward, Calif.; Mrs. John (Leona) Ryan, Long Island, N. Y.; Mrs. Charles (Ramona) Smith of Milford, Utah, and Ramon Bentley, Parowan; one sister, Mrs. Russell Grano, . Las Vegas and two brothers, Leonard and Vernon Ver-non Davis, both of Orem, Utah. Also surviving are 14 grandchil- dren and two great-grandchildren. |
