Show Living in the Escalante Valley three children of Rialto, California Califor-nia arrived in Modena to visit with Howard's folks, the Alfred Forces. They made the trip by private plane. The Mitchell White family of Milford also visited with the Forces, and Mrs. Force's sister and husband, the Robert i Dotsons and a nephew and fam-ily, fam-ily, the Bryce Dotsons of Panaca, iNev., joined the group, as did a I grandson of the Forces, Truce Truman and family of Ogden. Truce Truman and family attended attend-ed funeral services for his grandfather, grand-father, George Truman, at Enterprise. En-terprise. As a group, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Clay-ton Bracken and family, Guy !Huganir and Debbie Fairclough of Modena, a brother and sister-in-law of Mrs. Bracken, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bowler of Beaver, an aunt and uncle of Mr. Bracken, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stratton and family of St. George and Neldon Jones of Enterprise traveled to Pipe Springs, Glen Canyon and Zion National Park last week. By Georgia H. Moyle EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE The first Easter Sunrise Service of the Beryl Baptist Church was held at 6 a. m. Sunday, April 10. The group met on top of Television Televi-sion Moutain. The program started start-ed shortly after the sun rose over Iron Mountain. Vern Pickrell led in group singing, Mary Taylor gave a special Easter reading, and Carl Parrish gave a short devotion. de-votion. Two Escalante Valley service men have been home with their families on short leaves. Terry Pedersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Al-fred Pedersen, has returned to his base at El Paso, Texas, after several sev-eral days at home. Koy Hunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hunt is home on a 30-day leave, also, from El Paso, where he has been ' stationed since the fore part of' January after returning from 13, months overseas duty in Korea, j His orders are to report for duty , in Viet Nam about the middle of May. Mr. and Mrs. Bryner Wood trav-1 eled to Salt Lake City last week 1 to attend the wedding and re-1 ception for thei son Rex and Barbara Bar-bara Bowcut. They spent a few days visiting with relatives and ' friends in the Salt Lake area. Others attending the weddin? i from Escalante Valley were Pat, Jack, George and Spencer Moyle. Mrs. Lupe Casarez and four children, Jeanette, Patty, David and Daniel, spent four days in Paris, California, where they attended at-tended the funeral services of Mrs. Carsarez's grandfather, Yna-cio Yna-cio Marruffo. j Mrs. Elizabeth Ophiekems of Ogden was a visitor at Modena last week.
