Show I Parowan Lions Club Nominates, Will Vote April 28 Members of the Parowan Lions Club met for their regular meeting meet-ing on Thursday evening, April 14. Prior to the meeting a nominating nom-inating committee met to select officer candidates for the coming year, and in the meeting which followed it was opened up for further nominations from the floor,. As a result the follow members mem-bers will vie for club offices in the coming election: For president, Gail Wood and Osmer Nielsen; for secretary, Eugene Eu-gene Robb, Allen Stones and Ramon Ra-mon Bentley; first vice, Ted Burton Bur-ton and Ronald Mortensen; second sec-ond vice, Trenton Jones and Cau-dell Cau-dell Orton; third vice, Fred Dal-ton Dal-ton and Howard Rasmussen; tail twister, Earl Bunn and Bruce Decker; Lion tamer, J. W. Moore, and William Burns, one year director, di-rector, Carlyle Johnson and D. Amasa Stones, two yeas director, David Orton and Davii Wilker-son. Wilker-son. I Chairmen were alsoppointed for committees to tnie on different dif-ferent club projects for the summer sum-mer months as follows: To complete railing at city race track, David Orton; install, sprinkling system at municipal swimming pool, Carlyle Johnson, to handle details for the first annual an-nual Quarter Horse Show to be held here, Dan Robison. This show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18. The next meeting will be held April 18 at the Brian Head Ski Resort and will feature the annual an-nual election. Members are reminded re-minded that they must be present pres-ent in order to vote for nominees. |
