Show Ladies oi Elks Make Third Important School Contribution The Ladles of Elks of Cedar City made a contribution of consequence conse-quence to the East Elementary recently. The contribution was a combination weighing scales and height measurement. Mrs. J. V. Adams, president of the auxiliary organization, said that it was the third scales donated do-nated by the organization to the elementary schools of the city. The Lady Elks had previously made a similar donation at both the West and th North Ele-mentaries. Ele-mentaries. Cost of the scales was $67.50. Mrs. Adams said. According to Thomas J. Abplanalp, Ab-planalp, principal of the school, the scales are an item of most Importance in the school's health program. Under the plan of following the growth and development devel-opment of the students in the school each month each student is weighed and his height recorded, re-corded, furnishing a complete and accurate record. He extended the school's appreciation to the Ladles La-dles of Elks for the addition to the health program. |
