Show High School Students RateHigh In Music Competition Returns on the ratings of students stu-dents of the Parowan High School music department in the solo and ensemble competition two weeks ago at Kanab High School, were annonunced this week by LaNoir Asay, local music head. He states that Instead of rating rat-ing the students as 1, 2, or 3 as has been done in the past, the participants were placed in divisions 1 to 6, according to the way the Judges rated them. Under this plan, the particl-j pants from Parowan High were rated as follows: I Pat Urie, vocal solo, division 1; David Topham, trumpet solo, division di-vision 2 plus; Frank Benson, a trumpet solo, division 2; accordi-on accordi-on trio, Heber Lund, Duane Lam-oreaux Lam-oreaux and Kenny Topham, division divi-sion 2; Barbara Bayjes, piano solo, division 2 plus; Vanda Mitchell, piano solo, division 2; Roy Rummler, trombone solo, division di-vision 2. and ladies trio, Helen Hatch, Eleanor Adams, Pat Urie, division 2. |
