Show Top Scores Listed In Bowling Leagues Three women from three different dif-ferent leagues shared honors for the top game of the week in action in the Cedar City Women's Bowling leagues. Colleen Nelson of the Cedar Belles, Ann Gower of the Alley Cats and Nora Smith of the Thursday Koffee League all had 203 games. In series it was also a tie for top honors with Ann Gower and Maude Strate, both of the Alley Cats, hitting 521. By league top honors were as follows: Cedar Belles: Top game was Mrs. Nelson with a 203 and the high series was a 513 by Lillian Hazel. In the team department it was Jackson Cleaners with a 2261 series and a 772 game. Alley Cats: Kolob rolled a 2215 series for high game honors and a 779 game by KSUB was tops in that department. The tie for series at 521 by Mrs. Gower and Mrs. Strate was high for the entire association and Mrs. Cow-er's Cow-er's 203 was also a tie for high game of the week throughout the league. Thursday Morning Koffee: Team No. 8 composed of Colleen Sherratt, Marie Nelson and Pat Rollo stood up as high in individual indi-vidual efforts and Maude Strate had the top series with a 484. Strikettes: Virginia Hunter rolled roll-ed a 194 for the high game and and a 481 series by Barbaia Nelson Nel-son was high for the week. Winter Win-ter Wonders team had the top game of 765 and the team series was a tie between Meadow Gold and Twitchell Upholstery. Queen's Pin: Cedar Laundry had the top game of 589 and the series honors went to North East Furniture with a 165!). Individually Individu-ally Nancy Cox had the high game with a 183 and a 464 by Rosie Graff was the top series. |
