Show Madelon Isom Becomes Mrs. Reed Henderson I Announcement has been made of the marriage of Madelon Isom of Cedar City and Reed L. Henderson Hen-derson of Logan. The marriage ceremony was performed in Logan Lo-gan on Feb. 17. The ceremony was performed in the presence of close friends and relatives of the couple, and following the wedding wed-ding they were honored at a so-clai. so-clai. Miss Isom, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Isom of Cedar City, is a former popular student of the Cedar City high school and the College of Southern Utah. Following graduation from these two schools she studied at the Utah State Agricultural College in Logan, receiving her degree from that institution in the spring of 1955. She is now teaching Eng-Jlsh Eng-Jlsh and Business at the South: Cache High School at Hyrum, Utah, and will continue in that capacity for the remainder of the current school term. I At the College of Southern Utah Mss Isom was affiliated with the Pi Rho Omega sorority, and at the USAC she was affliated with Sigma Kappa sorority. ' Mr. Henderson, one of the top football players of USAC in the past two years, is a son of Mrs. Eleanor Grlnaud of Ix)gan. He was one of the most prominent football pjayers in Utah schools during the past year, receiving all-conference recognition, and was selected to represent thp conference con-ference at the East-West Shrine football game in San Francisco on New Year's Day. He played a prominent part In the shrine game, seeing considerable action. A physical education major, Henderson will receive his degree from the Utah State Agricultural CcJlege in June, and present plans call for hs participation in professional football In Canada this year. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson expect j to visit in Cedar City during spring vacation period at which time they will be honored at anj open house by the bride's par ! ents. The affair will be held atj the home of Mr. and Mrs. Isom on March 17, and friends are invited I to call between the hours of 7:30 ' and 9:30 p. m. |
