O W. W Carlson for a new man at the game developed into the best guard the Varsity Varsity Varsity Var sity has had for some time and with another year on the gridiron he will hold his own with any of them in the West At right guard Seward Mason made madea a good record for himself As center rush Robbins was the same old invincible VV Wades Wade's ade s tackling and his h handling of punts this year has placed him in the front rank Full-back Full Bennion has out-kicked out all the punters we have played against but buthis buthis buthis his line bucking was not up to last years year's form however in backing up the line and in running interference he was a tower of strength J John aIm Weston played at t tackle and at guard in the early part of the season but he made his reputation as a halfback halfback half half- back in the Thanksgiving game Ben Roberts was the star end runner runner run run- ner and in nearly every he game got around for a touch-down touch as a line bucker buck- buck er he had no equal in the team Evans played some good ball but was injured in the Guards game and did not get in the Thanksgiving game until it was nearly over Burmester and Kingsbury made good ends and were in good getting the man manas manas as soon as he appeared Wixon in some of the smaller games made a good showing and no doubt next year will be found in the regular line up tip Nelson Crandall Stevens Russell and Wilkins all helped the te team m to wi win the championship The outlook for next year is the brightest we have l with had had a with Holmes at coach and with Wade Brown Carlson Mason Robbins Robbin Bup Burmester ester Bennion Roberts N Nelson elson Crandall Wilkins Wilkins Wilkins' Russell and back there is n no reason why we should not have a champion champion champion cham cham- pion team It is up to the students Record U.
