Show NEWS FROM KANARRAVILLE j Mrs. Carma Williams Dur community had a sue-c-rssful Fourth of July holiday. Saturday evening we held a danre at the Cohle Crest dame hall. Monday a program was held t 10 a. m. with Miss Klainc Ratty mh Miss Lihcrty, with little Miu Betty Ann Haskell ami Ju-drneToland Ju-drneToland as attendants. Sports were- held in the afternoon, with ch'rtdren's dance in the evening. The children, grandchildren and Rre-at-e,randchildren of the late Mr. ajid Mrs. Henry Pollock Ktrwncd at the family home for a rnanion. There were 59 in at-tendance at-tendance to enjoy the week end visiting and recalling old times. Ky joying an afternoon outing at Wood's Rand with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams were their fhildrrn, Mr. and Mrs. Kussell Williams and daughter Sahina of Henilorson, Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jackson and children, Lily Li-ly Ann and James; foster daughter, daught-er, l.iza Marie Ballon anil a niece, Janet Murie of I.as Vegas; Mr. anil Mrs. Jimmie Kiddle and daughter Peggy Sue of Cedar City, Ci-ty, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams. Wil-liams. Also joining the Williams family were Mr. and Mrs. I.avor Stapley and Chad Kiddle of Cellar Ce-llar City. Mrs. llettie Pollock held an outing out-ing on Kanarra Mountain Saturday Satur-day with her children, grand children and great-grandchildren. All enjoyed a chicken dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Sherald Peterson of Boulder City, Nevada, are here to spend a few weeks with their mother, Frances Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Cornelius and family of Pittsburg, Calif, are H'nding a few days visiting their mother Lola ad two brothers, bro-thers, James and Jessie Cornelius Corne-lius All the families attended a Cornelius reunion at Duck Creek Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Sevan Williams and three children of Seattle, Washington, an? spending a week with their mother, Mary M. and Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis. Former residents of Kanarra here to upend the holiday from Klko and Wells, Nevada, were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pollock and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Reed William and Vickl, Bud Williams Wil-liams and on Randy, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Isom and family and Mi. and Mrs. Jerry Isom. Dale Cornelius, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cornelius, arrived ar-rived home Friday from his army base at Fort Hood Texas on a 26 day leave Mr. and Mrs. Gail Heap and children of Salt Lake City and Marna Heap of Pa rowan spent -a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Lemard Davis and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt enjoyed enjoy-ed a visit from some of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest At-twood At-twood and son, Mr. and Mrs. J. U Piatt and son of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Dell Judd of Cedar CJty. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Olds enjoyed en-joyed having their daughter Karen Kar-en home for the week end. She in. attending Mary's Beauty College Col-lege In Provo. Also visiting at the Olds home was Gil Smith of Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Rowan Williams and family of Las Vegas spent the week end here at their home. Also with the Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stout and family of Las Vegas. Mrs. Jackie Dixon and children of California and Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Strubble of Cedar City. Visitors here from northern jl'lah fir the Fourth of July noli-' I days were Mr. and .Mrs. Arvilla . Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Reeves and i family of St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Reeves and family of Cedar, Ce-dar, spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves to help Lynn, celebrate his birthday. ! Mrs. Laura Wood of Salt Lake City has been spending a few days with her sister and husband, I,ena and Noel Wiliams. Also visiting the Williamses were Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Stueki, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wiliams, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs, Faye Parker of Panguitch. Visitors and former residents of Kanarraville here from Las Vegas and Henderson to spend the holiday holi-day were Mr. and Mrs. Layron Christcnsen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury and son, Kimball, and daughter Raina Rae and son, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Davis, Hanna Davis, of Henderson; Hender-son; Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey Taylor and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Zohncr and family, Mrs. Cheryl Scott and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hayes and family, Mrs. Roma Wood and Sharla, Mr. and Mrs. Denor Pollix-k, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Davis and family, George Wood and Mrs. Erlene Isom and fam': Mi and Mrs. Tom Bryner and daughters of California visited Mrs. Bryner's sister, Lena Berry and brothers Park and Preston Williams and their families.
