Show NEWCASTLE Norma ChrUteasen Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt and their youngsters Journeyed to Salt Lake City last week for the purpose of bringing their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Kobb Piatt, home. Robb recently underwent an operation from which he. seems to be recovering very'sat-isfactorily. very'sat-isfactorily. Both the elder Mr. and Mrs. Piatt were very homesick home-sick and very glad to be home. While in the capital city Warren and Boa took their daughters to some of the tourist attractions. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hart and their family visited in Orderville last week at the home of Shirley's Shir-ley's mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed ward Crofts. Mrs. Carol Harrison and two daughters, Nancy and Diane, of Lancaster, Calif., are visiting this week with the Gordon Knell family. fam-ily. Mrs. Nell Skidmore and two sons, Larry and Lee, of Salt Lake City, are week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Also visiting was Iva's sister, Mrs. Camilla Prince andl daughter Carol of New Harmony. Mrs. Norma Thomas and four youngsters from Enterprise, were visitors this week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Alon-zon Alon-zon Christensen. Misses Kathy, Colette, and Lisa Tullis. daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Tullis of Enterprise, arc visitors at the home of Mrs. Mary Tullis. Carol ond Shirley are moving to Clearfield, and we arc surely going to miss them around here. A Relief Society visiting teachers teach-ers convention and social was held Tuesday morning in Pan-aca, Pan-aca, Nevada, for the Uvada Stake. Many of our Relief Society members attended. Visiting with Mrs. Geneva Gillies Gil-lies this past week were some of her family, Mrs. Katherine Simpson Simp-son and two children from Las Vegas and Mrs. Bonnie Riggs and her family, also of Las Vegas. Geneva returned to Las Vegas with them. Miss Wendy Ward, daughtei of Mrs. Ruth Ward of Cedar City, has been a guest at the Albert Harrison home this past week. Mr. and Mrs. George Jolley and their daughters left on an extended ex-tended vacation tour that will take them to Salt Lake City, Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park and and any other points of interest they decide to see. Visitors at the Mont Sorenson home this past week were Mrs. Athelia Siler and son Joe from Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Siler and three daughters from Artesla, Calif. |
