Show "Aunt Zoe" Receives Special Award at Mother and Son Meet The High School boys and! their mothers were royally entertained en-tertained last Wednesday even-' ing at a dance and par'y held at the high school. "Aunt Zoo" as she is commonly known by the students who b;n-efi' b;n-efi' by the wise counsel given and friendship offered, came to the High School eighteen years ago. Prior to that she had taught at the Branch Agricultural College Col-lege for 14 years, leaving there 'o assist Ianthus Wright, present Superintendent in organizing the High School as a sepora'e institution. insti-tution. For 15 years. Mrs. Palmer Palm-er acted as Girls' Counselor for the high school. She received her M. A. Degree from University of California at Berkeley and has comple'ed one year towards her doctorate degree. de-gree. Mrs. Palmer was presented a lovely corsage and very graciously gracious-ly accepted the honor bestowed upon her by her "adopted family." fam-ily."
