Faux, faculty mombcr of College Col-lege of Southern Utah, undergoes study in Isotope Technology Tech-nology at LSU under a program of the Atomic Energy Commission. CSU Staff Member Participates In Science Institute BATON ROUGE, La. Frank J. Faux of the College of Southern Utah is participating in a Summer Sum-mer Institute in Isotope Technology Techno-logy for 15 college teachers of basic sciences and engineering now in progress on the Louisiana State University campus here. The two-month Institute, jointly joint-ly sponsored by the Atomic Energy En-ergy Commission and the National Nation-al Science Foundation, will close August 13. It is supported by an $18,677 grant to LSU from the two agencies. Major objective of the institute Is to help college teachers gain a foundation of information and experience which will assist them in launching and pursuing , research and development projects pro-jects involving radioisotope tech-j tech-j niques. |
