Show Third Ward Falhers'-Sons' Falhers'-Sons' Fete Is Success Over 160 fathers and sons of the Parowan Third Ward gathered gath-ered at the Ward's cultural center cen-ter last Wednesday for the annual an-nual Father'a and Son's dinner with a very good time spent by those In attendance. The event was sponsored by the Ward YMMIA officers under the chairmanship of Don C. Low. der, youth group counselor and chairman of the Boy Scout troop committee of the ward. It was planned as an observance of an-' an-' nual Boy Scout Week and also to raise funds for the ward troop use. ' ' Acting as co-chairman of the event was Roy Benson, Jr. MIA president, and they were nbly assisted by their wives In preparing pre-paring the dinner, with much of the food being contributed by vard members. Serving was done by a group of Mia Maids, April Rollins, Nancy Nan-cy Robinson, Maxlne Heap, Vic-ki Vic-ki Barton, Linda Dalton and Sandra Wheatley. Ticket sales were handled by the ward troop committee consisting con-sisting of Gary Bentley of the bishopric, Ronald Mortensen, Norman Day, Joseph Stubbs, Elmer El-mer Lowe, Bill Barton and Rodney Rod-ney Bentley, assisted by Scouts. |
