Show LDS Seminary Class To Present Memorial By Dal Buhanan It was just 100 years ago that the handcart companies came across the plains and after many hardships and severe trials, viewed with tear-glazed eyes their destination, the Salt Lake Valley. The Church History classes of the Cedar LDS Seminary, in studvlnz this period, came to realize the debt -due these pioneers, pio-neers, and appreciating their sacrifices have arranged a special spe-cial program in their honor. The program, arranged by Paul E. Dahl, Church History teacher at the Seminary, and under the direction of Miss Dianne Peterson, Peter-son, will feature as guest speaker, speak-er, William R Palmer, giving a talk on the handcart company, as well as a skit portraying the hardships faced by the group. Several students from the seminary sem-inary have prepared short talks and stories, together with a variety var-iety of musical numbers to provide pro-vide an enjoyable atmosphere. A rare treat will be In store for the public Nov. 11 at 8:15 p. m in the Second Ward recreation recrea-tion hall, when this program j will first be presented. Attend this program, designed to be interesting in-teresting as well as educational, and you will be much more more thankful for what you have.
