Show I Local Livestock Man Dies After Prolonged Illness -J I John A. Adams, 82, well known livestockman of southern Utah, died Sunday. Oct 30, following a long Illness. Mr. Adams who had engaged in farming and livestock raising most of his life, was also Interested Inter-ested In mining In the southern Utah area. He was born in Cedar City on Nov. 7. 1877, a son of John Varlev and Ma rv Ann Rail a v I Adams. j On November 30, 1908, he mar-,ried mar-,ried Aletha Rebecca Berry of Cedar Ce-dar City, who died in 1944. They had spent their life here. Survivors Include one son and three daughters, John Waldow Adams, New York; Mrs. Wayne (Sylvia) Bryant, Wheaton, 111.; Mrs. Phyllis Dlskln. and Edythe Adams, Berkeley, Calif. Also surviving sur-viving are six grandchildren and one brother, William B. Adams, Cedar City. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the First Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon, and burial was In the Cedar City cemetery. |
