Show Kiwanis Talent Scouts To Select Final Show Numbers i . i . . i final jiuiiii:i iui vnc annua, Kiwanis Junior Talent Show will be selected Saturday as all applicants ap-plicants will participate In an audition au-dition under the direction of chairman Robert Hansen and his committee. As in the past the show will be divided into three age groups for participating purposes. Group divisions will be through seven years old; eight to 13 year and 14 to 18 years of age. The show will be staged at the College of Southern Utah auditorium audi-torium Friday evening, Mar. 28 and the public is cordially invited invit-ed to attend. Winners of this year's show will have the opportunity, in addition ad-dition to receiving prizes, to participate par-ticipate on a second talent show to be held in Cedar City for the right to appear on television in Salt Lake City. Jelesnik of Salt Lake City, tal-ent tal-ent scout and outstanding TV personality will conduct and act as master of ceremonies, in a show to be presented in Cedar City on April 3. Participants on this program will be winners of the Kiwanis Talent Show and winners of a similar talent show being held in St. George. From this show Jelesnik will select a group of young talent to participate on a Talent Quest Show on television In Salt Lake City. The one program will feature fea-ture exclusively the talent selected se-lected here from southern Utah. And that Isn't all. The winner of the show in Salt Lake City will appear with five other show winners on the weekly program for the right to appear on the Ted Mack Amateur Talent Show, a nationally televised program. The southern Utah talent quest show in Salt Lake City will be on April 14. |
