Show July Nuptials Spoken By Petty. Isom Mi: Sondra Jean Petty became Isom Wednesday, July 15. Vows the bride of Dallas Woodbury were exchanged at the home of Frank J. Petty, an uncle of the bride, and Mr. Petty, a member of the Eighth Ward bishopric, of-ficiated of-ficiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Reed Petty, Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Robert L. McGee of Tucson, Tuc-son, Ariz. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Isom of Cedar City. Immediately following the twilight twi-light ceremony a reception was held in honor of the newlyweds at the Petty home. For the wedding occasion the lovely bride chose an original design de-sign zown of white organdy featuring fea-turing a square neckline and short sleeves. Lace material formed a bow in the back and streamers fell to the floor from a full-length skirt. Her veil was caught to a crown of French laced lac-ed orange blossoms and she carries car-ries a bouquet of baby pink rose buds and Ivy. Attending as maid of honor was Harriet Ann Isom. Standing as best man was a brother of the bridegroom, Jon Isom, and Gay Pryor was flower girl and Layne Isom served as ring bearer. bear-er. Dale Buchanan and Richard Isom were ushers. Maid of honor wore a dress of pink silk organdy with small Satin bows attached. Gown fea- tured a full harem skirt and she wore a matching hat and carried car-ried a bouquet of wite roses and ivy. At the guest book was Edith Armstrong. Both bride and bridegroom have attended College of Southern South-ern Utah. Last year the new Mrs. Isom attend University of Southern South-ern California at Los Angeles. Mr. Isom graduated from CSU and is now serving a tour of duty du-ty with the U. S. Navy. At the present time he is assigned at Washington, D. C. Following the marriage the couple left on a short honeymoon trip to the Utah national parks and are now enroute to Washington Washing-ton where they will make their home. |
