Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer for the right to exchange, ex-change, to change, or appropriate water in Iron County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year unless otherwise designated. All locations are in SLB&M. To Exchange: 84 Cedar City Corporation, Cedar Ce-dar City, Ut .55 sec.-ft. of water as evidenced by Water Users Claim no. urns, rro posed Determination Deter-mination of Water Rights in Cedar Ce-dar City Valley, which has formerly form-erly been diverted from a well at a point S. 3187 ft. and E. 2173 ft, from NW Cor. Sec. 21, T36S, R10W, and used as a supplemental supply sup-ply for municipal purposes in Cedar City. Hereafter, .55 sec.-ft. will be pumped from the well and conveyed con-veyed by pipe to the Coal Creek Channel at a point S. 3190 ft. and E. 2040 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 21. T3GS, R10W, and in' lieu thereof a like quantity will be diverted from springs tributary to Coal Creek at the following points: (1) Cluff Spring S. 363 ft. and W. 2022 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 35; (2) Chatterley Spring N. 1035 ft and E. 1270 ft. from SW Cor. Sec. 26 - both in T36S, R10W. The water from the springs will be conveyed by pipe line and used as a supplemental supply for municipal purposes within the j incorporate area of Cedar City. To Change a-3259 - Milton H. Gentry, Beaver, Ut, proposes to change the point of diversion and place of use of 20 sec-ft of water initiated ini-tiated by Application No. 23762. The water was to have been diverted di-verted from Fremont Wash, trib. to Little Salt Lake at a point S. 50 40' W. 1995 ft, from NE Cor. Sec. 15, T31S, R7W, and used from Mar. 1 to Sept. 30, to irrigate irri-gate 800 acres in S4 Sec. 16, SEU Sec. 17, N'aSWVi Sec. 21, NEU. SW4 Sec. 20, VV'4 Sec. 29, T31S, R7W. Hereafter, It Is proposed to divert di-vert 20 sec.-ft. of water from the same source at a point S. 70 29' E. 834 ft. from N Cor. Sec. 7, T31S, R6W, by means of an earth dam and headgate and used from Mar. 1 to Sept. 30 to irrigate 800 acres in S4 Sec. 16, Sec. 15, SE4NE4 Sec. 11, Ntt Sec. 12, T31S, R7W; SW4NW!4 Sec. 7, T31S, R6W. 29378 Sidney Ashdown, Cedar City, Ut .015 sec.-ft. from Butcher SpiJtg, trib. to Hamblin Vallev Wash at a point N. 1237.5 ft. and E. 165 ft. from S14 Cor. Sec. 7, T32S, R19W. From the aprlng the water will be conveyed by 3 miles of pipe to a 3000 gallon storage tank where It will be used to water 1600 sheep and 850 cattle. 29398 - Utah Water and Power iioard, 425 State Capitol Bldg., Salt Lake City, Ut 50 sec.-ft and 8000 ac.-ft. of water limited to a rate of diversion of 50 sec-ft from Crystal Creek, trib. to Virgin Vir-gin River to Colo. River, the water wat-er to be diverted by means of an earth, concrete or rock diversion dam at a point N. 2400 ft and E. 4200 ft from SW Cor. Sec. 7, T38S, R1GW, and conveyed ihrough 13 miles of canal and tunnel where it will be commingled with the waters of Kolob Creek at a point N. 1400 ft. and E. 3790 ft from SW Cor. Sec. 36, T38S, R11W, and conveyed thereby to the existing Kolob Reservoir where during the period from Nov. 1 to June 30, 8000 ac.-ft. will be stored in the reservoir by multiple storage or concurrent storage and use at a point N. 270 ft. and E. 2127 ft. from SW Cot. said Sec. 30. The water may be released from the reservoir into Kolob Creek and rediverted from Kolob Creek and the Virgin River and used from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 to irrigate 7420 acres as a supplemental supply and 4800 acres as a sole supply, and for domestic and municipal requirements of 7000 persons, industrial in-dustrial purposes, and to water 50,000 sheep, 5000 cattle and 200 horses, all uses in T40S, R13W, T41S, R12W, T41S, R13W, T42S, R13W, T42S, R14W, T42S, R15W, T42S, R16W, T43S, R14W, T43S, R15W, T43S, R16W. All or part of the water may be rediverted or released from the Kolob Creek Reservoir Into a tunnel whose portal is located E. 640 ft from WK Cor. Sec. 36, T38S, RUW, and conveyed thereby 5500 ft. and through 114,160 ft, of steel penstock and water supply line and used in two plants for power purposes, and for municipal purposes pur-poses in the incorporated area of Cedar City, or discharged Into Shurtz Creek at a point S. 1320 ft. and E. 1800 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 9, T37S, R11W, and Coal Creek at a point N. 135 ft. and W. 1770 ft. from E'i Cor. Sec. 13, T3GS, R11W, and rediverted therefrom there-from through existing canals and used from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 as a supplemental supply to Irrigate Ir-rigate 21,000 acres in T34S, R10W. T31S, R11W, T35S, R10W, T35S, R11W, T36S, R11W, T36S, R12W, T37S, R12W, and to water 50,000 sheep, 5000 cattle and 200 horses. 29583 United States of America, Amer-ica, Bureau of Land Management, Manage-ment, P. The water Is to be diverted by concrete collection boxes at two points as follows: (1) S. 17 20 W. 548 ft; (2) S. 19 02' W. 643 ft both from EV4 Cor. Sec. 16, T31S, R17W. The water will be conveyed through 4 miles of pine to 3 troughs and used to water 300 cattle. 29721 John C. Sherratt. The water will be used for the domestic requirements require-ments of two families, fire protection, pro-tection, watering of 500 cattle, 6 horses, 500 sheep and from Apr. 1 to Nov. 1 for the Irrigation of lawns, shrubs and garden. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applica-; tions with reasons therefor, must be filed In duplicate with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City 14, Utah, on or before be-fore September 5, 1959.
