Show m I NEWS OF ACTIVITIES IN SUMMIT By Donna Davenport We were fortunate in havir.f; two returned missionaries from the Enoch Ward speak to us in Sacrament meeting Sunday. They were Elder Fernleigh and Sister Virginia Bryant, son and daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Bry ant. Mrs. Anna Dalley and Mrs. Ro-wena Ro-wena Dalley accompanied the L. D. S. Girls on their annual camping camp-ing trip on Parowan Mountains. They left on Tuesday of last week and returned home Thursday. Thurs-day. The girls who went were Jeanne White, Colleen Fife, Ro-layne Ro-layne Walker, Maxine Dalley, Myra Richards and Patricia Dalley. Dal-ley. Mr. and Mr;,. Raymond Farrow Far-row were happy to have, all of their family together this past week end. Mr. and Mrs. Gayland Farrow arrived here from Ar kansas last week where Mrs. Farrow has been staying with her family while Gayland made a tour of duty with the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton and Miss Francis Farrow came from Mercury, Nev.. Completing the family circle here were Dick and Dennis. The family all gathered at the Allton home Saturday evening eve-ning for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Delos Dalton and family spent last week in Or-cleville Or-cleville at the homo of Mr. Dal-ton's Dal-ton's parents. Miss Kay Richards attended the wedding of her friend, Sandra Gr!e, in Cedar City Saturday evening. Miss Shirlynn White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee White had the misfortune of running Into a barbed wire fence last week, receiving re-ceiving a seriously cut eyelid and bruised eye. She was hospitalized hospi-talized for two days. Mr. and Mrs. Dee White spent two days last week at Zion Na tional Park and St. Gfurge attending at-tending a meeting for county assessors. as-sessors. Mrs. Esther Morton of Downey, Calif., who has been vacationing here the past two weeks, traveled trav-eled to Salt Lake aty early last week to meet her daughter, Mrs. Kathy Wilson and two little boys of Ft. Collins, Colo., and brought them back here for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lawrence, daughter Cindy and sons Jerry and Craig of San Diego, Calif., arrlvetl here Maiday rf last week for an overnight stay with Boyd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfotti Lawrence. Cindy remained here to visit with her cousin, Shirley Farrow, while the rest of the family went on to Gunnison. Colo, for a couple of days' visit with a brother. Dr. AuDrey W. Lawrence and family, before Boyd boarded a plane for his return re-turn trip home. Mrs. Lawrenre then traveled on to Greeley, Colo, to spend a week with her parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow traveled trav-eled to Hunter, Utah, and back again on Wednesday where they spent several hours visiting witli their daughter, Mrs. Conley Adams and family. They brought another daughter, Shirley, home I after she had spent ten days I there. They also brought their I little granddaughter, Lynette ' Adams, back with them. I L |
