Show High School Seniors Named for Annual Boys' State ' -nuu ' '-J ROBERT TUCKETT ,in,.H!JUil j ....... . . :' I : ; ' j " V - . . ! .7c DAVID GRIMSHAW 4 S ' ) I DELL RICH Throe young men, seniors at Cedar City High School this fall, will be in attendance at the annual an-nual Boys' State, conducted by the American Legion and to be held on the Utah State Unlver- sity compus at Logan. The week-long event will be held from July 7 through July 14. Named to attend from Cedar High were Robert Tuckett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tuckett; David Grimshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grimshaw, Enoch, and Dell Rich, son of Dr. and Mrs. A. F. Rich. American Legion Post No. 74, as n member of the state organization, organ-ization, Is participating In the Boys' State program. Each boy will be also sponsored by another an-other organization. Rich will be sponsored by the Lions Club, Grimshaw by the Rotary Club and Tuckett by BPOE Lodge No. 1556. Boys' State Is a week-long activity ac-tivity In which boys from throughout the state gather together to-gether for special Instruction In leadership, and particularly government gov-ernment and Its organization. Organization of city, county and state levels are net up and each boy will participate and function In various capacities of elective office. In addition other special pro-grama pro-grama and recreational activities activi-ties are set up for the enjoyment enjoy-ment of the youths. |
