ROBERT LAYNE PETERSEN St. George LDS Temple Ceremony Unites Cedar City Girl, Park City Man in Marriage The St. George LDS Temple' was the scene June 25th for the vedtling of Miss Charlotte Cox and Robert Lane Petersen. President Pre-sident Rudgar C. Atkin officiated at the single ring service. Parents of the couple are Mr and Mrs. Reid Cox of Cedar City and Mrs. Don H. Petersen, Park City, Utah. Before a reception the evening of their wedding, the couple and members of the wedding party were entertained at a luncheon held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin (Tedt Cox in Cedar City. For the reception at the Cedar City Seventh Ninth Ward, the bride wore a traditional white wedding gown with lily-point sleeves and tiers of lace accented by a front lace panel. Her veil was of elbow length attached to a cluster of crown flowers. The bridal bouquet was a cascade fashion m.i-.it from glamelias. Matron of honor was the bride's sister. Lyona Hales. Another sister, sis-ter, Nellie Cox. served as maid of honor while Maxine Vanden-berghe, Vanden-berghe, Mary Lou MacKeiprang. Phyllis Buhanan, and Barbara Cox wer bridesmaids. They wore blue crystal-charm A line dresses and carried nose gays of glamelias and carnations. Mothers of the couple wore hlue dresses adorned with gla-melia gla-melia corsages. Inez Cox served as guest book attendant. Karol Frel and Pat Rollo were gift room attendants while friends and aunts of the bride assisted as kitchen hostess-ess. hostess-ess. Guests at the reception were favored with several vocal numbers num-bers rendered by the bride's sisters, sis-ters, Nellie and Lyona. Following a honeymoon trip making their home in Cedar City. The bride has attended College of Southern Utah where she was affiliated with Lambda Delta Sigma Sig-ma sorority. The bride groom Is a senior at the College of Southern South-ern Utah where he is majoring in Industrial Arts Education. |
