Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS NOTES Mrs. Dee Wilcken Franklin Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Jones, has been visiting here with friends and relatives. Visiting here over the July 4 week end with their parents were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Munson and their children from Las Vegas. Mrs. Munson is the former Mavis Ma-vis Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones. Also visiting vis-iting with the Jones family was another daughter, Miss Trudy Jones of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Matthews of Idaho visited here with Mrs. Matthew's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones. They left their young son Kirt, here to visit for a while wPh his grandparents. Miss Connie Grimshaw, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Grimshaw Grim-shaw of Bountiful Is spending some time here visiting this summer. sum-mer. She is staying with the Norman Nor-man Grimshaw family. Four baby girls were born to residents of our area last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Garrett had their daughter on June 29, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson had a baby girl on June 30. Mr. and Mrs. Cressel Sherratt and Mr. and Mrs. Theron Foster had baby girls just a few minutes apart on July 1. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stucki are spending a few days visiting with their daughter and family, i Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Grim shaw. Mr. and Mrs. Stucki make their home in Kaysville. Also visiting with the Grimshaw family fam-ily is Mrs. Mary Ann Terry of Magna. A lovely wedding reception was held on the patio of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nelson last Thursday Thurs-day evening honoring newlyweds Mr. and Mrr Darrell Krueger. The new Mrs. Krueger Is the former for-mer Verlene Terry, daughter of !Mr. and Mrs. Vernile Terry. Mr. 1 Krueger Is the son of Mr. and I Mrs. Bill Krueger of Capitol Reef I National Monument. A very successful Fourth of July Ju-ly celebration was held at the Ward Chapel Monday. A program pro-gram was given under the direction direc-tion of Beverly Murie. Refreshments Refresh-ments and games were under the supervision of the MIA organization. |
