Show Mariam Williams Weds in Salt Lake Rites In a double-ring wedding ceremony, cere-mony, solemnized In the Salt Lake temple September 7, Miss Mariam Williams became the bride of James Howard Jackson. The ordinance which united the young couple was performed by Elder Charles E. Rowan. Jr. After a short stay in Salt Lake City the bridal party Journeyed to southern Utah where a reception recep-tion was given in their honor at the Kanarraville ward recreation hall. The bride chose for the occasion occa-sion a beautiful gown of while chant illy lace over satin with a veil of bride's ilhision held at a tiara of seed pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of pink and white spider asters. The bride's attendants were Miss Nancy Williams, a sister, as maid of honor with the Misses Avey Pearee, Deanna Williams and Calda Davis as bridesmaids. They were in gowns of pastel colors and carried bouquets of lovely fall blossoms. Beryl Bordon performed the duties of best man. The new Mrs. Jackson i a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard R. Williams of Kanarraville and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Jackson of Cedar City. Mrs. Geneva Stapley, an aunt of the bride, assisted with the bride's book. In the gift room were sisters and sisters-in-law of the bridegroom. Refreshments were served hv Hazel Davies, Ethna Ford, Estcl-la Estcl-la Williams. Venice Prince, Susie Leeder, Sharon Zohner. Janice Williams, Lauralle Williams and Norma Roeve?. The couple are honeymooning in the mountains near Navajo Lake until Mr. Jackson returns to Ft.
