Show Board Members Make Acquaintance Of New City Teachers A portion of the time at the meeting of the Iron County School meeting was spent in meeting new teachers in the schools of Cedar City. Teachers from each of the schools met with the board to become acquainted ac-quainted and to discuss local school policy. New teachers interviewed included in-cluded the following: High School. Geraldlne Osmond. Os-mond. Salt Lake City, Speech and English; Herman Houston, Panguitch, business and library; Glade Sorenson, Glenwood, bio-logy bio-logy and agriculture; Gracela Garcia, Mexico, Spanish; LaRue Dalley. Summit. English and literature; lit-erature; Mrs. Betty J. Davis, Cedar Ce-dar City, girls physical education, educa-tion, and Joyce Nelson, Salt Lake City, English. Junior High School: Willa No.', they, Iowa, home economics, and Clark Hafen, St. George, English. East Elementary: Barbara Anderson, An-derson, Cedar City; Sharon Slater, Sla-ter, Ogden; Barbara Williams, Kanarraville; Bcrdett Johnson, Monroe. West Elementary: Patricia Olmstead, Salt Laku City, and Ina Reber, Nevada. There are no new teachers at the North Elementary this year. |
