Show Scout Finance Head Announces Drive Plan Smoot Seaman, finance chairman chair-man for the Cedar Breaks District, Dis-trict, Utah Parks Council, Boy Scouts of America, announced today to-day that a two-weeks drive to raise a quota of $2,400 will get underway Monday, Oct. 25. According to Mr. Seaman the drive will begin Monday and run through Nov. 6. The Rotary Club of Cedar City will spearhead the drive again this year. That group will help make the collections for the district, dis-trict, Seaman indicated, strictly as a public service project. The total quota of $2,400 must be raised through contributions, Seaman indicated, as he solicited solicit-ed the cooperation of local residents resi-dents to respond to this worthy cause. Money raised by the individual in-dividual troops of the district for their own projects cannot be considered con-sidered in this campaign, he added. |
