Show Tickets Now on Sale for Chorus fionearance This season brings the 17th anniversary tour of the famous General Platoff Don Cossack Chorus and Dancers, an attrac- tion as familiar a part of American Ameri-can scene as the National League or the Ringling Bros. Circus. This famous group, through the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club of Cedar City, will appear in the College of Southern Utah auditorium Friday evening, Nov. 4, at 8 o'clock. The Cossacks have a varied program, ranging from stately, religious' music to the stirring folk melodies, and including classical music only singable by highly, trained choruses. Repertoire Reper-toire also includes exciting Cossack Cos-sack dances and popular American Ameri-can melodies. Tickets for the Cedar City presentation pre-sentation of the touring group are now on sale by members of the Kiwanis Club. All seats' will be sold at $1.50 including tax However, only a maximum num-tber num-tber of tickets will en on sals and patrons are encouraged to buy their tickets In advance. In 17 years of singing more than 2000 concerts in the United States, the Cossacks have orjy missed one. They have also been abroad and appeared in a number num-ber of European countries. |
