Show Dixie Rebels Take Measure of Bronco Nine, 4-3 The Branch Agricultural college col-lege Broncos lost their opening game of the ICAC baseball race to the Dixie Rebels of St. George, Thursday, April 10, in a hard played 4-3 contest on the Rebel's diemond at St. George. Eight hits were all that were collected for both teams due to srjlendid Ditching bv Horlacher of the Rebels and Naegle of the Broncos. Horlacher struck out 11 B A C batters and allowed only three lits during the game. Naegle, Nae-gle, who also struck out 11 batters, bat-ters, allowed five hits during the nine innings. Both pitchers went the full nine innings. B A C will be host to the Carbon Car-bon Eagles of Price this afternoon after-noon on the local field and will be out to redeem its initial loss to the Rebels. Friday afternoon the B A C squad will take on the Snow Badgers from Ephraim in another home game. Wins in these two home games would put B A C near the top in the southern division of the ICAC. |
